The watch was professionally refurbished two years ago. Since then, it has been worn very rarely and is in excellent condition. The bracelet shows no signs of wear, which is very rare for this model.

This model is distinguished in particular by its concealed clasp and the unique roulette-style date display. The odd-numbered dates appear in red, while the even-numbered dates are, as usual, in black – a rare and charming detail with special collector appeal.

The Rolex Datejust 116234 was produced until 2018 and subsequently replaced by the reference 126234. This makes ours one of the last Datejusts with a concealed clasp, which makes it particularly interesting and relatively rare today.
